2008 NBA Mock Draft: Lottery Edition

Many experts’ flashy preseason pick to win the NBA title this year finally came through and won big on Tuesday night well after the regular season… but in a very different way. The Chicago Bulls, with its young roster that got its coach fired and embarrassed itself with immaturity, won the NBA Draft lottery for the second time in franchise history.

The Bulls began the year as a hot pick to, at the very least, represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals. Instead, the team started off 3-10 and quickly spiraled out of any type of contention. Coach Scott Skiles was fired after telling management that the team needed a new voice. The team’s first round pick from 2007, Joakim Noah, was suspended for a game by the team for acting immature.
